Custom Closed Corner Frame for Mark Maggiori Artwork
One of our latest projects we loved was getting to frame two artworks by the French-American artist Mark Maggiori.
Drawing from a background in painting, graphic design, music and directing, Mark Maggiori creates cinematic artworks that depict the lush and rugged landscapes of American Southwest, with impeccable detail offered to each aspect of flora, fauna, and characters that inhabit his artworks in hyperrealism style.
These artworks came to us as a signed edition of prints on archival paper printed and embossed by MAG, an artist collective that creates high quality prints of original artists' work.

To give these artworks the best conservation and custom framing in New York City, we created a set of beautiful closed corner frames with matching splines. These artworks on paper are custom hinged to museum board underneath, using a process of Japanese paper hinging with rice paste. Our conservation techniques ensure that all stages of the framing process are 100% archival and reversible, keeping the artworks' longevity in mind.
A final glazing with Museum Glass gives these artworks on paper the best 99% UV Protection, along with Anti-Reflective filters layered in the glass to give the overall piece stunning Museum-Grade clarity and protection. Museum Glass will prevent the colors in the print from fading or foxing, while creating a barrier to also prevent against dust, fingerprints, and moisture changes over time.
