Frames and Stretchers Factory at 610 Smith Street on the border of Gowanus and Red Hook in Brooklyn is the heart of our handcrafted woodworking division. We opened this venue last spring as the space where we create our custom Legacy interlocking canvas stretchers. Since then we've continued to expand our product line to include sculpture pedestals, art shipping crates and our newest addition, art storage crates. These crates come with service that includes a visit to your art studio, gallery or home to determine your needs. Our master craftsmen will then get to work designing, milling and assembling exactly what you've specified - storage crates for all of your artworks that are not on display. Finally, our art handling team will deliver and install your new organization and storage system.
