This colorful 41”x 25" Native American Hand-quilted Tapestry has been mounted to an acid free foamcore and framed on a classic gallery white wood floater frame.
We used Attach-EZ tool. ATTACH-EZ is a revolutionary way to mount all types of fabric and three-dimensional artwork. The results are 100% archival and reversible, should the owner wish to change the framing style in the future.
ATTACH-EZ works on all types of clothing articles, tapestry, quilts, and stretching needlework as well.To create a museum-grade floater frame for this textile artwork we used only the best conservation techniques and practices to make sure this frame and the artwork would be kept in the best condition and longevity possible.
Stretching Fabric with Interlocking Stretcher Design
To ensure canvas, textile, and fabric artwork will have a clean and even stretch, we used a interlocking canvas stretcher design that will protect and stretch the foundations of the artwork perfectly.
The artwork is stretched, assembled, and fitted in our custom framing and canvas stretching studio in Lower East Side New York, located within the historical Clemente Center.
