Recently at our Frames and Stretchers Lower East Side Studio we had the honor of framing a beautiful screenprint by Andy Warhol. We created a one of a kind custom welded steel frame in a gunmetal finish to give this screenprint Museum-Grade conservation and an incredible finish for our collector client.
All of our framing designs are fully customizable to our client's wishes. The gunmental finish on this welded steel frame helps the warmer colors of the screenprint pop while giving the piece an overall timeless industrial look with welded steel.

Whenever we are working with artworks on paper, screenprints, or photography, we always recommend either matting or floating the artwork using Japanese paper and rice paste hinging, for the best conservation framing in New York.

We mounted the screenprint onto acid-free Musuem Board which is then expertly fitted into the welded steel frame for artworks in New York. Having already decided on the design with the client, the screenprint now appears floating inside the frame with a beautiful and contemporary finish.
